ABOUT US

Warrensburg Emergency Medical Services, Inc (WEMS) is a NIMS compliant 501 (c) 3 non-profit volunteer agency contracted by the towns of Warrensburg and Thurman to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. WEMS responds to 100% of their first calls in less than 4 minutes. We are a well regarded agency within county for competent and timely ALS care as well as efficient operations. WEMS additionally routinely responds to provide mutual aid and/or ALS care to five neighboring agencies in Warren County.

WEMS is overseen by a Board of Directors consisting of seven members. The agency's operations are overseen by the President, Vice President and the Operations Supervisor.

WEMS operates from their own building in town, which houses their three ambulances; response is enhanced by additional fly cars. WEMS contracts with a third party staffing agency to provide additional needed staffing, beyond the hours contributed by our dedicated volunteers.
