 The mission of Warrensburg Emergency Medical Service (WEMS) is to provide the best possible emergency medical service to Warrensburg and Thurman, New York as well as other surrounding communities.

 

Our patients are our first priority.

Our members are our greatest asset.

We are a non-profit emergency medical service that is dispatched through the 911 system by the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Our staff of professional volunteers are dedicated to providing advanced life support (ALS) as well as basic life support (BLS) care. Even though we are largely supported by our volunteers, we also bring in additional paid staff to assure 24/7 ALS coverage to our residents and their neighbors.

As a non profit organization we rely heavily on the support of our donors. Yes we do bill for our services, yes we do receive support from the town, however without the generous support of our donors and volunteers we would not be able to survive.
